Subject: Private Profiles
Content: Most every day I browse the profiles of new members. Every once in a while, though, I click on one and get an error message saying I cannot view the profile unless I first request to be added to the subject's friends list.Is this a glitch in the system, or is there an option somewhere that enables you to block access to your profile this way?And if the latter is true...what's the point of doing it?It has the appearance of being exclusionary, and I take offense. It's just a profile, after all. Or is there something I don't know, and is this attitude misplaced?
